Welcome to The Novice Ve! My services and products are provided subject to the following terms and conditions. By using the website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, as they contain important provisions relating to your use of the site. The website is owned and operated by The Novice Ve (the artist, Veronica Marin).

I grant you limited, revocable access to make personal use of the website as a customer. However, you are not permitted to:

reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell or otherwise exploit the website or any product image, product listing, product description, logo or other content ("Website Content") for any purpose, except as expressly provided;

use a robot, spider or data mining or extraction tool or process to monitor, extract or copy Website Content (except in the operation or use of internet "search engines," hit counters or similar technology);

use any meta tags, search terms, key terms, or the like that contain the website’s name used on the website;

engage in any activity that interferes with the website or another user’s ability to use the website;

modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any technology used to provide the website and the services offered on the website; or

assist or encourage any third party in engaging in any activity prohibited by these Terms of Use.

Any use of the website or Website Content that is not expressly authorized herein is prohibited and immediately terminates the license granted herein.

By providing your email to receive my newsletter, you consent to receive communications from me by e-mail. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that I provide to you by e-mail satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Your Account

If you use this website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. I reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at my sole discretion.

All Website Content is the property of The Novice Ve. The purchase of any product does not provide the purchaser with any copyright interest or other intellectual property right in the product.

Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made on thenoviceve.com, all purchases and orders placed by you and all agreements concluded between us in relation to the products and services offered on this website.

Return Rights

I am committed to quality products and your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed.

*Non-Custom Orders:

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your non-custom piece purchase, you may return it within 30 days of receipt and receive a free replacement product of equal or lesser value, the price difference will not be reimbursed, or a full refund for the price of the product. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

*Custom orders:

I design and create unique custom pieces, per customer specifications. When creating a custom piece, I will require approval on size, material, color etc. I will submit a photo proof prior to shipping a custom order. All custom order sales are final upon proof approval. Approvals must be submitted electronically. All electronic approvals are binding.

If your order should arrive in less than satisfactory condition, I offer a convenient Photo Return option. Simply take a digital photo of the item and one of the shipping container it arrived in, attach them to an email and mailto:thenoviceve@gmail.com. Please include in the body of the email: your order number, the shipping ID or item number, a brief description of the reason for the return, and let me know whether you are seeking a replacement or a refund. Your request will be processed within 3 business days and you will receive an email letting you know your replacement is under production or your refund is being processed.

All returns must be approved and accepted by The Novice Ve, via electronic communication. To return your item(s) please pack them in the original tube or box and write the order number in the “ATTN TO:”.

Acceptance of Order

I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. In such event your sole recourse shall be the return of amounts paid by you related to such order (if any).

Product Descriptions

I attempt to describe my products offered as accurately as possible. However, I do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the website is 100% accurate, current or error-free. If a product offered by The Novice Ve and purchased by you is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition for a conforming replacement, refund or credit.

Disclaimer

The Novice Ve is not liable for any financial damage (including but not limited to the cost of any replacement purchase) that may occur because of non-timely arrival or any lack of availability or conformity of the product.

Privacy

The Novice Ve honors and respects your privacy. Your information will not be sold or provided to any external parties without your consent.

Shipping

All product prices include free standard shipping to the lower 48. Any orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska or outside of the United States will be quoted to the customer prior to being charged. Upon shipping price approval, the product and shipping charges will be charged to the customer and a tracking number will be provided once the order ships. If your order requires expedited shipping, the same process will be followed.
